Selection Process and Exam Pattern
Selection will be conducted in two stages. Stage I is Stenography Skill Test which is qualifying in nature and tests shorthand and transcription speed. Stage II is Written Examination conducted offline on OMR sheet with 100 multiple choice questions. Exam duration is 1 hour 45 minutes. General category candidates must score minimum 50% and reserved categories 40% marks. There is no negative marking, but not filling the fifth bubble for unattempted questions will deduct 1 mark.
